Financial Amount: At the time the girl completed its 18 years, she will receive Rs 1.5 Lakh through the Direct Cash Transfer Scheme in her account. This is a good amount which is used for the girl’s marriage, higher education or personal use. Assurance Certificate: This certificate is issued in the name of the girl in the year she was born or when she registered with the scheme. When a baby girl is born in Chhattisgarh and comes under below poverytu line, then eligible applicants do their registration. After the registration, an Assurance certificate will be issued in the name of the girl. Faimmy has to take this certificate safely. When she completes her 18 years, this amount will be issued in the name of the girl child. Before that, the family of a girl child was not eligible to receive this amount under any condition.
Payment Method: This scheme has different payment methods, i.e. when she was born get Financial Assistance Certificate, and the maturity of the whole amount with interest given at a majority of her age. This amount will be given through DBT. Money will be credited into the girl’s bank account only. The government issued a Budget of 1,72,000 crore rupees for the implementation of this scheme.
