Objective of Birsa Awas Nirman

Financial AID Benefits
As in the above paragraph, I already told you that this scheme is working as the Housing Assistance Scheme, in which an amount to construct the Pucca House will be given. The total amount which is given is about 1,31,500 rupees. But the same amount is given in instalments as per the construction progress.

Benefits to Panchayat Volunteer
In this scheme, the additional benefits to the Panchayat Volunteer are given for monitoring the progress of the construction of the House. They also have to check the quality and time of the completion of the House. For each of the House, they get Rs.500 in which Rs.100 will be given after the foundation, lintel, and Roofing. Then 200 will be given when the house construction is completed.
Eligibility to Qualify
- To become a beneficiary under Birsa Awas Nirman Yojana, the applicant can be a permanent citizen of the state.
- The applicant can belong to the Scheduled Tribe of Jharkhand State.
- You are living in a rural area of the state of Jharkhand.
- The family’s economic status should be economically weak.
- If you belong to an urban area, then you are not covered in this scheme.

How to Apply for Jharkhand Birsa Awas Nirman Yojana?
The application process is totally offline. So if you fulfil the above-said eligibility Criteria, then follow the application process.
- Every applicant has to contact their nearest Panchayat Officer or Department Office during working Hours. Then have to enquire about the scheme and then get the application.
- After getting the application Form, kindly fill the form with the details as mentioned in your documents.
- Now, along with the photocopy of all the important documents, submit it in the same Panchayat Office or Department Office from where you obtained the form.
- After submitting the form, get the receipt of your form.
- The applicant needs to save all the records of your submission of the form, because you can use it in future to check the progress report of your form.
Application Status
I already told you in the above paragraph that once you submit your application along with documents, you can make two photocopy sets. One set is submitted to the concerned office, and one set can be saved for you. When you submit one set to the office, you will get the receipt. To check the progress of your application, visit the same panchayat Office and enquire about it. They will check the same with your receipt number.
