As we all know, for women’s empowerment in the state of Chhattisgarh, there is already a scheme running with the name of Lakhpati Didi Yojana. In which all the women have to join the self-help group and do the financial activity to earn income and become financially independent. Now with this financial independence, the government wants to provide them the experience of the  Tour of Holy places, Shakti Peethas, which are known as the places of the Goddess. To provide such an experience of visiting different holy places, the government introduced the scheme with the Lakhpati Didi Bhraman Yojana. All the Lakhpati Didis can be a part of this scheme.

By launching this scheme, the Chhattisgarh government wants to encourage all the women under Lakhpati Didi to enhance their working skills after joining the Self Help Group, etc.

Objective of Lakhpati Didi Bhraman Yojana

The main objective of this scheme, Chhattisgarh government to make the women of the state more economically strong members of the self-help group and the government also encourages and motivates them to take them on business tours at various places in the country and also get the Darshan of the famous holy places. By visiting various and different places, they will learn about new techniques in the business and enhance their skills. The new earning opportunity will also be introduced to them.

Who are Lakhpati Didis In Chhattisgarh?

So, first of all, you all have to understand the word Lakhpati Didi. Women of the state of Chhattisgarh, who are members of the Self Help Group in the state of Chhattisgarh and earn Rs. 1 lakh per year or more by doing the financial activities, are called Lakhpati Didi. You can also become a part of the Lakhpati Didi Yojana Chhattisgarh by joining the local self-help group of your area.

At present, there are a total of 8 Lakhs Lakhpati women, also known as Lakhpati Didi. Previously, under this scheme, only the Urban area women were part of this scheme, but now the Rural area women also love to be part of this scheme, being known as Lakhpati Didi.

Eligibility  Criteria For Women

• Applicant must be a woman and a permanent citizen of the Chhattisgarh state.
• All the women who are linked with the Self Help Group and members of such groups.
• Lakhpati Didi must have a yearly income of Rs. 1 lakh or more to be eligible to get benefits.
• The members of the Self Help Group, who are known as Lakhpati Didi, must be involved and active members in at least two financial activities for their livelihood.
• All women who have already received or been selected for the skill training in the scheme.

First of all, the women are interested first of all have to join the Self Help Group; for that, you need to contact your nearest and local Self Help group. You have to visit the office of the group, or you can also apply by using the official website of the concerned department. There is no separate application form available for the scheme. You only have to register your name for the scheme in the Block Office of your area.
